Vegan crème brûlée

Vegan crème brûlée ? Oui, s’il vous plaît.

Oh, kako sam bila srećna kada sam uspela da napravim vegasnku varijantu ovog tradicionalnog francuskog dezerta kome se uvek radujem. Moglo bi se dakle reći da je ovo gulity free varijanta krem brulea.


  • 1 hand full of cashews

  • 3 tsp of cane sugar

  • 400 ml of full fat coconut milk

  • 50 g cacao butter

  • 4 tsp of arrow root powder)

  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp of sea salt


  • First mix all ingredients in one casserole – milk, 2 tsp of cane sugar, cacao butter, vanilla extract and sea salt. Mix all very well.
  • Heat this mixture all the time stirring with the whisk and also when the mixture is hot add arrow root powder.
  • When the mixture starts to boil, decrease the heat and continue to cook for 15 minutes more.
  • After 15 minutes put everything in the food processor and pulse until you get smoothie texture.
  • Pour the mixture in the 4 ramekins and put in the oven at 200 C.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and after 10 minutes sprinkle with third spoon of the cane sugar.
  • Bake for 10 minutes more.
  • Vegan crème brûlée is ready now and you can serve with some fresh fruits on the top.
