Acai bowl
Just like many of us, the moment I heard about acai berries two years ago, I immediately wanted to try them. I had been making famous acai bowls for breakfast for a very long time until I realized that a lot of fruit makes this meal too sweet, so now I eat acai berries no more than twice a month, but I enjoy them even more because they are like a weekend prize. Do you have similar eating rituals?
Acai bowl (for 2)
1 banana
1 cup frozen red fruit (strawberries or a mix of wild berries)
2 cups almond milk
1 tablespoon almond butter
4 tablespoons granola flakes
Fresh fruit for decoration
Chia seeds to sprinkle on top
DIRECTIONS
- Blend banana, milk, frozen fruit and almond butter. Divide it into two bowls and then add granola to each bowl together with fruit prepared for decoration. Sprinkle with chia seeds if you have them, but if not – it will be just fine without.
